Davante Adams
Coming in at number 1 on my list of the best wide receivers in the National Football League is Davante Adams. Davante Adams played his first and last 8 seasons with the Greenbay Packers where he had quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
This year Davante Adams will have a chance to reunite with his old college quarterback, Derek Carr in Las Vegas. Last year on the Packers Adams was all pro putting up 1,553 yards on 123 receptions averaging 12.6 yards per catch. He was also able to haul in 11 touchdowns.
This year without having to deal with all the drama in Green Bay I believe that Adams will be the best receiver in the league especially since he already has chemistry with his new quarterback.
Cooper Kupp
Coming in at number 2 on my list is to no surprise Cooper Kupp of the Los Angeles Rams. Cooper Kupp had a career year last season becoming a triple crown winner and a super bowl champion.
Kupp joined the elite company this season after completing the triple crown becoming the 4th receiver in NFL history to do so behind Jerry Rice, Sterling Sharpe, and Steve Smith Sr. Kupp was also named AP Offensive player of the year.
During the regular season, Kupp was able to catch the ball 147 times for 1,947 yards averaging 13.4 yards per catch. He also caught 16 touchdown passes.
Kupp was not done there in the Superbowl he caught 8 passes, 2 of them being touchdowns and 92 yards receiving. Kupp had a season that all wide receivers dream of having.
I believe Kupp will continue to shine in the 2022 NFL season as last season was his first season with an elite quarterback like Mathew Stafford.
Stefon Diggs
Coming in at number 3 on my list is Stefon Diggs of the Buffalo Bills. In my opinion, I believe that the Bills will win the Superbowl next season and a key factor of that team will be Stefon Diggs. I believe that Diggs will have the best year of his career in the 2022 NFL season.
Last year Diggs was able to put up 103 catches for 1,225 yards averaging 11.9 yards per catch to go along with 10 touchdowns. I also believe that Josh Allen will win the Most Valuable Player award next season and a lot of it will be thanks to Stefon Diggs.
Diggs in my opinion is a lock to be a top 3 receiver next season and I believe he will easily reach over 1,500 yards and double-digit touchdowns.
2022 NFL Season Honorable Mention: Deandre Hopkins
My honorable mention for my top 3 receivers in the 2022 NFL season is Deandre Hopkins of the Arizona Cardinals. Now, this may come as a surprise because Hopkins in my opinion is the most talented and skilled wide receiver in all of football. However, his season depends on how good his quarterback can play, and as far as the Cardinals and Kyle Murray, the relationship is questionable.
Kyler Murray fell apart in the second half of the season after having an MVP-type first half of the season. If the drama continues with Kyler Murray and the Cardinals it can affect Hopkins’s season.
With any quarterback in the league, I believe Hopkins will give a strong case as a top 5 receiver. It will be interesting to see how the Cardinals turn out next season.
