Over the years since the league started, there have been some fantastic Super Bowls; there has been an enormous load of unforgettable moments from these games. This list consists of the most unforgettable games that have ever been played for the Lombardi trophy.

Super Bowl 51: Patriots Vs. Falcons

When making a list of the best Super Bowls ever played, it would be hard not to include this one. In Super Bowl LI, Tom Brady led the seventeen and twelve Patriots through the AFC and looked to face off against the thirteen and five Atlanta Falcons, who came out of the NFC.

The Patriots were the favorites going into this game as Brady was coming off of another phenomenal year. The Falcons had other plans dominating the first three-quarters of the game and going up twenty-eight to nine. This was no problem for the Patriots as they would go on to score nineteen points in the fourth quarter to tie the game.

In overtime, the Patriots easily drove down the field and punched it into the endzone to win the game. The Patriots pulled off one of the greatest comebacks of all time, while the Falcons went down in history as the ones who had the worst Super Bowl choke ever.

Super Bowl 25: Bills Vs. Giants

Now this game was a battle of the underdog; the Buffalo Bills were a dominant force in the NFL at the time. At the same time, the New York Giants were clearly not the favorites to take the Super Bowl. This stopped neither team, as the game was close till the very end.

Going into the fourth quarter, the score was sixteen to twelve Giants, but the Bills would drive down and score a touchdown. The Giants responded with a field goal putting the game score at nineteen to twenty. The Bills would make one final push to the end zone but would miss the field goal to win the game. Giving the giants one of their first Super Bowl rings.

Super Bowl 42: Giants Vs. Patriots

Once again, both the Giants and Patriots are in a Super Bowl, and this was one to remember. For years before, it seemed as though no one could stop Tom Brady; this was evident the most when Brady led the Patriots to a perfect regular season record and looked to cap off the year with a ring.

This all came to a halt when Eli Manning led the Giants through a phenomenal playoff run and would score two touchdowns in the fourth quarter to take the game. The final score was seventeen to fourteen, cementing Eli Manning as the man who defeated Tom Brady and the unbeatable Patriots.
